Your employer's role

The employer you apply to controls your application data and makes hiring decisions. MTestHub processes it on their behalf as a service provider.

What is processed

Application information and résumé; screening answers; assessments; video/audio responses and transcription only where the employer enables them and you are told before you start; interview and offer information.

AI-assisted analysis and human review

AI compares job-related evidence to the employer's criteria and may recommend validation. It never decides on its own; people review and decide. Protected characteristics and biometrics are never scored.

Live proctored assessments

Some employers choose a live proctored assessment for higher assurance. You are told before you book. You schedule a time, and a human proctor authorized by the employer joins you. Depending on the employer's settings, the proctor can see your webcam, the screen you choose to share and your assessment activity, and can chat with you. Monitoring starts when you join the waiting room and ends when the proctor closes the session.

MTestHub's built-in live proctoring does not record video, audio or screen: streams go directly between your browser and the proctor's browser. Chat messages, warnings and the proctor's notes and incident observations are kept with the session record. Employer admins and assessment reviewers can access them, and they are deleted on the employer's proctoring retention schedule (for example 30, 60 or 90 days), which is separate from assessment response retention.

No facial, gaze, emotion, voice-stress or other biometric analysis is used. Proctor observations never change your score automatically, and a technical problem never counts against you. Any decision about a session is made by a person at the employer. You can request an accommodation before your session.

Retention and your rights

Data is kept per the employer's retention settings. You can withdraw and request deletion from your candidate portal, or use the Data Request form — we'll route it to the employer and assist them.
